The Pune-based software product company, in a statement, said InTech was the first of its kind enterprise product only event with a curated list of 50 companies and 50 CIOs.

Linguify enables enterprise applications to be localised into multiple languages without making any changes to the application code or database.

Currently, LinguaNext is working with mobile device OEMs and mobile application providers to enable the availability of applications and content in non-English languages.

Crisil Research in its recent report says it expects the Indian economy to grow by 6.5 percent annually between 2014-15 and 2018-19. This is good news for the Indian economy considering the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has predicted around 4 percent global growth for calendar years 2014-18. However, GDP growth at 6.5 percent is in no way close to the 9 percent growth seen 2003-04 to 2010-11, which was briefly hit by the global financial crisis in 2008-09.

India's top IT-services exporter Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today inked a pact with Japanese major Mitsubishi Corporation to form a single IT services unit. This merger aims to create a new IT services company of significant scale in the Japanese market, the company said.

This merger is expected to close by June 2014. TCS will hold 51 percent stake in the merged entity and Mitsubishi 49 percent. The entity will have an annual turnover of over USD 600 million. The management of TCS said that the Mitsubishi deal will add USD 300 million to revenues in FY15.

4G LTE Spectrum: Could Indian Telcos Eye The SKT Model? - Light Reading India

As it inches closer to the planned launch date for its 4G services in September 2014,Reliance Jio Infocomm continues to sign agreements with technology partners, service and infrastructure providers, application partners, device manufacturers and other strategic partners critical to a cost-effective and efficient rollout of its state-of-the-art 4G services across India. Last week, Reliance Jio announced an agreement to share Reliance Communications’ intra-city fiber optic network with nearly 500,000 fiber pair kilometers that reach over 300 towns and cities across the country.

Under the terms of the agreement, Reliance Jio Infocomm will utilize this nationwide intra-city fiber network to accelerate its network rollout, and Reliance Communications could net an average of Rs 1 lakh per kilometer for the life of its license. However, the agreement is based on an arm’s length pricing at prevailing market prices to be determined at the time Reliance Jio starts using the network. Reliance Jio Infocomm had earlier agreed to lease telecom towers and national long distance optic fiber from Reliance Communications to accelerate rollout of its 4G services across the country. Reliance Jio also has pacts with Bharti Infratel and Viom Networks to share telecom towers.

Reliance Jio has been expected to launch 4G services since 2011, after it acquired a pan-India Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) spectrum in the 2300 MHz band across all 22 circles in May 2010.The launch, however, was postponed until the technology ecosystem comes of age, expectedly in 2014. Devices that support 4G LTE services are only just becoming available in the India market. Reliance Jio is now ramping up for its much-awaited services launch in Q3 2014 by recruiting as many as 500 new telecom professionals over the next few months. Recent press reports indicate that two sets of leaders will be hired for certain senior roles, including Indian circle heads and operating professionals with specific domain knowledge and expats that can transfer knowledge and global best practices.

Reliance Jio also secured additional spectrum in the 1800 MHz band in the February 2014 spectrum auction for 14 of the 22 circles namely, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Kolkata, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Mumbai, North-East, Orissa, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. This allows Reliance Jio to deploy a futuristic high-capacity 4G network infrastructure capable of handling huge demand for data and voice using the mix of spectrum it now owns in the 1800 MHz and 2300 MHz bands. The mix could potentially cover high-speed LTE broadband data, 3G data and 2GSM voice services. With the recent 1800 MHz spectrum auctions, operators like Reliance Jio could deploy LTE FDD for nationwide mobile broadband coverage and leverage the TD-LTE networks currently being deployed using the 20 MHz of BWA spectrum in the 2300 MHz band for additional capacity in major cities and high traffic zones. This will require Reliance Jio to deploy multimode base stations and offer 4G smartphones and tablets that can support 3G, LTE FDD and TD-LTE across multiple bands.
